First, let’s look at the release schedule timeline. Delta Reign launches on November 6, 2026. Therefore, the next primary English expansion is expected to arrive in late January or early February 2027.
While asking what comes after pokemon delta reign yields no official English title yet, Japanese set previews offer vital clues.
What Is the Next Japanese Pokémon TCG Set?
Japan’s release schedule usually predicts future English expansions because English sets adapt Japanese card pools. One upcoming Japanese expansion to watch is Aura Seeker, currently scheduled for release on November 27, 2026, in Japan.
Furthermore, Japanese sets often combine into our early-year English releases. As a result, cards from Aura Seeker will likely form the core of the early 2027 English expansion.
What Could the Next 2027 Expansion Feature?
Although official English details remain unannounced, collectors can expect several key developments:
- Continued Mega Evolutions: Expanding the Mega Evolution ex mechanics introduced in the current block.
- New Special Illustration Rares: Fresh full-art chase cards featuring popular Mega Pokémon and Trainers.
- Aura Seeker Mechanics: New tactical Item cards and Trainer Supporters adapted from Japanese releases.
